Stacey Abrams is running to be America's first black woman governor
Stacey Abrams has taken a big step into the arena as a candidate for Governor of Georgia.
She currently serves in Georgia’s General Assembly as the Minority Leader and Representative from the 89th District.
If elected, she will become the first black female governor in the US.
Stacey has an amazing story. She was President of her class at Spelman and graduated from Yale Law School as a Truman Scholar. She’s also the daughter of two ministers.
