New Jersey, 3rd District
Andy Kim grew up in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District, in the suburbs just outside of Philadelphia. It was here that Andy hit his first home run and earned his first paycheck. It was the experiences and values of growing up here that led Andy to become a Rhodes Scholar and ultimately, serve his country. As a career public servant, Andy served two years at the White House as the Director for Iraq at the National Security Council where he was a point person for coordinating the global war against ISIS. He previously served in Kabul, Afghanistan as a diplomat and strategic adviser to Generals David Petraeus and John Allen.
